  Ruth E. Getz LEBANON Ruth E. Getz, 95, died on Sunday, July 18, 2010, in Cedar 
  Haven. She was the wife of the late George W. Sholly and the late Raymond S. 
  Getz. She was born in Lebanon on September 12, 1914, daughter of the late Guy 
  E. and Viola Matthews Daub. She was very active in the Moravian Church for over 
  50 years and she joyfully served as the president of the Woman's Fellowship and 
  in the Sunday school for many years. Ruth was an amazing mother and will be 
  greatly missed by her family and friends. Her wonderful smile, her hugs and her 
  generous spirit endeared her to everyone she met. Ruth is survived by her son, 
  Edward G. Getz and wife Barbara, Lebanon; daughters, Lucy E. wife of Lester K. 
  Steiner Sr., Lebanon; Linda J. wife of Thomas L. Van Brunt, Lebanon; 16 
  grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. She was 
  preceded in death by her sons, George W. Sholly Jr., William G. Sholly, Cyril 
  F. Sholly, Ray G. Sholly, Thomas J. Sholly; daughter: Jean A. Reed; sisters, 
  Evelyn Boyer and Lucille Billingham. Funeral services will be held on Saturday 
  in the Moravian Church of Lebanon, 1115 Birch Road, Lebanon, PA 17042 at 11 
  a.m. where a viewing will held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. 
  Interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of 
  flowers, contributions may be made to the Cedar Haven General Fund, 590 S. 5th 
  Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042; or her church. The Rohland Funeral Home, Lebanon is 
  handling the arrangements.
