M. shabodeho@aol.com October 21, 2010, 12:14 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on October 20, 2010 James Gilmour Jr. CORNWALL James Gilmour Jr., formerly of Hatboro, died on October 14, 2010, at Cornwall Manor. He was the husband of Edith (nee Coe) Gilmour. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late James and Helen (nee Wheatland) Gilmour. Mr. Gilmour was a World War II Veteran, serving as a Corporal in the U.S. Army. He worked as an engineer for the FMC Corp. for 36 years. He volunteered with the Boy Scouts, he was a Mason in the Lebanon Lodge #226, and was also a member of the American Legion Post 163 in Jenkintown. Mr. Gilmour enjoyed genealogy, family research, traveling and spending winters in Arizona with his wife Edith. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children James Gilmour III (Mary Leland), Robert Gilmour (Nancy Demeo), and Jane Gilmour; his step-children, Joan Green (John), and Ed Davidheiser (Debbie); 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his sister, Mary Bensing. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Helweg Funeral Service 463 Old York Rd. Jenkintown, PA 19046, where friends will be received after 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
