Steve passed away peacefully December 19, 2010, in the hospice unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital after living a life filled with challenge, special care, love and fun as part of a large family and with many friends. During the past five years, Steve had been a resident at Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Allentown and the family wishes to thank those who gave him excellent care during that time. Born in Lebanon, he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Bernard J. and Anne (Karinch) Grabusky. Steve grew up in the Golden Eagle Hotel, was a member of St. Mary's Parish in Lebanon and attended both Cleona Elementary and the Lebanon County Workshop. Steve is remembered for his ability to make friends easily everywhere he lived due to his warmth, good humor and charm. His interest in pro football, especially the Colts and Cowboys, The Sound of Music, hamburgers and barbecued chicken, family holidays and TV (particularly Bob Barker and soap operas) made conversations easy and reinforced that he was indeed a very special person. His spirit taught many about exceptional people over the course of his life. He is survived by his sister, Anne Stokes, wife of John of St. Marys, Ga., and his four brothers, Bernard Grabusky, Jr., husband of Martyanne of Bear, Del., Dr. John Gray, husband of Kathy of Bethlehem, Dr. Joe Gavin, husband of Mary Jo of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and Frank (Shrank) Grabusky, husband of Betty of Las Cruces, N.M.
