Gronceski, DDS, 87, formerly of Lebanon, passed away June 12, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy; sons, Mark and Scott; daughters, Cynthia and Nancy; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah. Edward was an Army Veteran serving in World War II as part of the Army's 9th Infantry. Edward fought at the Battle of The Bulge. His unit' motto was 'anywhere, anytime, anyplace', and is in the book 'The Pawns of War' by William Kreye. He later reentered the Army during the Berlin Crisis and the Cuban Missile Crisis. Edward continued his dedication to his country and fellow servicemen as Chief of Dental Surgery for V.A. Hospitals for over 20 years. He always considered his greatest achievement as a soldier in the fight for right to life. Graveside service will be Friday at 12 noon at Holy Cross Cemetery, 20th Street, Lebanon.
