  Joseph F. Haas 
  
  Joseph F. Haas MYERSTOWN Joseph F. Haas, formerly of Philadelphia, died 
  Thursday, July 8, 2010, at Cedar Haven, Lebanon. He was the husband of Carol A. 
  (Price) Haas, to whom he was married 52 years on February 14, 2010. Born in 
  Wilmington, Del., he was the son of the late Robert R., Sr. and Myrtle E. 
  (Weir) Haas. He was a 1939 graduate of Wilmington High School and served in the 
  U.S. Army for 22 years. He worked as a currency counter at the Federal Reserve 
  Bank of Philadelphia for 10 years, retiring in 1977. He was a member of Mary 
  Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, Myerstown; a life member of the Knights of 
  Columbus, Myerstown, and the Myerstown VFW; and a member of the Myerstown Lions 
  Club, American Legion, and Williamson Masonic Lodge #307, Womelsdorf. In 
  addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Deborah A. Haas of 
  Quakertown; two grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; and one great-great-
  granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph R. Haas, Sr. in 2004. 
  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. from Mary Gate 
  of Heaven Catholic Church, 188 W. McKinley Ave., Myerstown. Viewing Tuesday 
  from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown.
