  Pauline E. Harkins 
   
  PALMYRA Pauline E. Harkins, 94, died Thursday, November 18, 2010, in the 
  Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Lloyd E. Harkins, who died in 2002. 
  Born in S. Londonderry Twp., on July 24, 1916, she was the daughter of the late 
  George G. and Sallie Barto Risser. She was a graduate of Palmyra High School. 
  Pauline was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Elizabethtown, and 
  the Lawn Fire Company. She loved her family, and enjoyed making afghans and 
  working with flowers. She lost her lifelong friend, Catherine Heilman, in June, 
  2009. Surviving are two daughters, Marie E., wife of Kenneth E. Beare of 
  Lebanon, and Evelyn Fay Schatzman of Massachusetts; three grandchildren, 
  Michael Beare and his girlfriend, Angie Cimino, Matthew, husband of Toni Miller 
  Beare, and Amanda Lynn Schatzman; two great-grandchildren, Spencer and Emily 
  Beare; two nieces; and four nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, 
  Beatrice Dice and Mary Ellen Risser. Funeral services will be held on 
  Wednesday, November 24, at 11:30 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and 
  Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be held in Indiantown Gap 
  National Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. 
  at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the 
  American Cancer Society , P.O. Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042; or her church at 
  398 N. Locust St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
