Haverneck LEBANON Kathleen Teresa Haverneck, 85, died Friday, October 29, 2010, at Spang Crest Manor in Lebanon. She was the wife of Joseph Pistone, who died in 1991 and Chester Haverneck, who died in 1994. Born in Lebanon on January 31, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Thomas McElwee and Bessie Stein Hollinger. Kathleen worked for various factories when she was younger, was a manager at Sears Coffee Shop in Lebanon and along with her second husband Joseph Pistone owned and operated the Stadium Café and later worked at Boscov's Dept. Store in Lebanon. She was a member of the Bar Owners Association, Annville Senior Center where she loved playing cards and was a former member of the Navy Club and Quentin Riding Club both in Lebanon. She is survived by two sons, Richard D. Perlaki and wife, Debra of Lebanon and Michael D. Perlaki and wife, Tara of Cornwall; one daughter, Jeanne wife of David Chatterton of Campbelltown; two sisters, Alice Snyder and Mary Lou Paxton, both of Lebanon; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter and companion George Hudson. She was preceded in death by a son, John V. Perlaki, Jr.; and one brother Jermaine Hollinger. Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory 618 E. Main St. Annville. Inurnment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, E. Hanover Twp. There will be no viewing. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the GSH Hospice P.O. Box 1281 Lebanon, PA 17042.
