Heim, 81, went home to be with His Lord peacefully, surrounded by his family at his home, on Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Born on February 21, 1929, in Helfenstein, he was a son of the late Calvin J. and Leona Willier Heim. He was a member of Hetzel's U.C.C. Church, where he served on the Cemetery Board. Malcolm worked as an xray welder for 34 years at the Quaker Alloy Casting in Myerstown. Malcolm loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a Phillies fan and loved to tell jokes. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being at Camp Hymer in Clinton County. Preceding him in death were a daughter, Rita Zimmerman; a greatgrandson, Todd Fekete, II; his brother-in-law, William Kulick; and his nephew, Sandy Lucas. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Irene Krause Heim; two sons, Richard Heim and companion, Joyce Cobb of Schuylkill Haven, and Leonard and wife, Veronica Heim of Pine Grove; two daughters, Marna Heim and Laurie Humphrey, both of Pine Grove; seven grandsons, Rodney and wife, Kim Heim of Manheim, Matthew and wife, Renee Herring, and Richard and wife, Heather Heim, both of Pine Grove, Corby and wife, Angela Lewis of Auburn, Corey Lewis of Pine Grove, Timothy and wife, Cynthia Herring of Ashland, and Robert Heim of Harrisburg; six granddaughters, Lisa Zimmerman and Christine Zimmerman, both of Schuylkill Haven, Samantha Zimmerman of Pine Grove, Valerie Fekete, and Jennie Adams and companion, Travis Fischer of Pine Grove, and Rhonda Kurtz of Bernville; 13 great- grandsons; seven great- granddaughters; one sister, Gladys Kulick of Lykens; and niece, Beverly Ortity of Harrisburg. Services will be held at Hetzel's U.C.C., Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Mary Lou Eckels and the Rev. Raymond Hurst officiating. There will be a viewing on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the H.L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove. Interment will be in the Hetzel's Cemetery, Pine Grove. The family would prefer in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either the Hetzel's U.C.C. Memorial Fund, c/o Mae Hummel, 335 Tow Path Lane, Pine Grove, PA 17963; or to Pinnacle Health Hospice, 301 One Norwegian Plaza , Pottsville, PA 17901, in his memory.
