  Charles E. Henning LEBANON Charles E. "Bud" Henning, 83, of 612 Mulberry Lane, 
  died on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at VA Medical Center. He was born on Sunday, 
  December 26, 1926, to the late Harry Earl Henning and Laura Henning nee 
  Newcomer in Lebanon. He was a member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, 
  Lebanon. He worked as a carpenter. He was a veteran of the Navy, having served 
  in World War II. He was an explorer leader, and enjoyed model airplanes, 
  camping, fishing, and hunting. Surviving are wife, Dorothy Henning nee Long of 
  Lebanon; son, Terry, spouse of Markey Henning of Manheim; daughters, Cristi 
  Hall of Palmyra and Holly Henning of Palmyra; grandchildren, Todd, spouse of 
  Michelle Henning, Laura, spouse of Herby LaLanne, Linly Hall, and Ciara Hall; 
  greatgrandchildren, Derek LaLanne, Jessica LaLanne, Andrew Henning, Rachael 
  LaLanne, and Lexi Leonard; sister, Bessie Reedy; and several nieces and 
  nephews. Viewing will be on Monday, March 15, 2010 from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. 
  James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lebanon. Funeral services will begin at 10 
  a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 
  Annville, following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice 
  of VA Medical Center, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042; or St. James 
  Evangelical Lutheran Church, 53 Chestnut St., Lebanon, PA 17042. Christman's 
  Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the family with the arrangements.
