  Charles R. "Chuck" Hess Jr. 
   
  Charles R. Hess, Jr. LEBANON Charles R. "Chuck" Hess, Jr., 54, of 16 Moravian 
  St., died on Monday, March 29, 2010, at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born on 
  Tuesday, September 6, 1955, to Charles R. Hess, Sr. and Pauline D. Hess nee 
  Peiffer in Lebanon. He retired as a fork lift operator at Excel. He enjoyed 
  hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities. He also enjoyed bowling and was a 
  member of Friendship Fire Company and Field and Stream. Surviving are daughter, 
  Melissa L. Hess of Lebanon; sons, Jason C. Hess of Lebanon, Robert W. Hess of 
  Lebanon, and Daniel L. Hess of Lebanon; grandchildren, Taylor Gracely, Chase R. 
  Hess, and Derek W. Hess; brother, James H. Hess, Sr.; sisters, Susan, spouse of 
  Tom Getz, Charlotte, spouse of Jeff Culp, and Karen, spouse of John Vucetic; 
  companion, Debbie Curlin; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside 
  services will be on Thursday, April 1, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Grand View Memorial 
  Park, Annville. Memorial contributions may be made to Kidney Foundation of 
  Central PA, Olde Liberty Square, 4813 Jonestown Road, Suite 101, Harrisburg, PA 
  17109. Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the family with the 
  arrangements.
