M. shabodeho@aol.com November 28, 2010, 11:11 am Published in Lebanon Daily News on November 28, 2010 Patricia Hoffman HARRISBURG Patricia "Patty" Conrad Hoffman, 57, passed away Monday, November 22, 2010, at her home. Born in Richmond, Va., on August 6, 1953, she was the daughter of Esther T. Crosley Conrad of Mechanicsburg and the late Albert A. Conrad. Patty retired as a Benefits Administrator from Pennsylvania State Education Association after 25 years of service. She was a Real Estate Agent for Prudential. Patty was a 1971 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 998, Lawnton; the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Unit 7530, Lower Allen; and the Perseverance Fire Company, Jonestown. Patty especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter and great-granddaughters. In addition to her mother, Patty is survived by her husband of 22 years, Warren I. Hoffman, whom she married on April 9, 1988; one stepson, Michael R. Hoffman, companion of Jodi Meredith of Ft. Loudon; one stepdaughter, Kimberly D. Matesich, wife of Marc A. of Dillsburg; one granddaughter, Samantha N. Smith of Dillsburg; twin great- granddaughters, Makayla Smith and Makenzie Smith, both of Dillsburg; one brother, Robert A. Conrad, husband of Wendy of Hummelstown; three sisters, Mary Shepley and Therese Finney, both of Mechanicsburg, and Joanne Conrad of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Patty's life will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 W. Main St., Hummelstown. Inurnment will be in the Resurrection Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Pinnacle Health Hospice, 2645 N. Third St., Suite 300, Harrisburg, PA 17110-2037.
