  Samuel A. Hoover 
  
  Samuel A. Hoover GRANTVILLE Samuel A. Hoover, 82, of Gravel Hill Road, died 
  Friday, May 7, 2010, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. Born April 30, 1928, 
  in Grantville, he was the son of the late John A. and Lydia (Ulrich) Hoover. He 
  retired from Hershey Foods Corporation and was also a farmer. He was a U.S. 
  Army veteran of the Korean War. A member of Palmyra Church of the Brethren, 
  Grantville Volunteer Fire Company, and Chocolate Workers Union Local 464. 
  Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Sara F. (Fisher) Hoover; son, Michael A. 
  Hoover of Grantville; and sister, Emma R. Gastrock of Grantville. A memorial 
  service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2010, at his church, 45 N. 
  Chestnut St., Palmyra, preceded by a visitation from 9:30 a.m. Interment in 
  Mount Annville Cemetery, Annville, will be at the convenience of the family. In 
  lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Palmyra Church of the Brethren, 
  45 N. Chestnut St., Palmyra, PA 17078.
