Houser, 86, died July 24, 2010, at Hospice of Lancaster Co., Mt. Joy. Born in Riverton, W.Va., a daughter of John and Beulah (Harper) Lambert, her husband, Herman L. Houser, died February 27, 1989. A member of Swamp Christian Fellowship, Reinholds, she worked for Cinderella Knitting Mills and Hemmerich Ind., Denver, and last for Weaver's Markets, Adamstown, where she was known as the 'Pot Pie Lady'. Irene enjoyed cooking, camping, blue grass music and was known for her 'Minnie Pearl' impersonation. Surviving are sons, Jimmy L. (Dorothy Shupe) Houser, Marietta; and Randall R. (Rebecca Youndt) Houser, New Holland; nine grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; three greatgreat-grandchildren; and a brother, Carl (Anna Ward) Lambert, Jonestown. Funeral service will be Monday, August 2, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
