Huntzinger PALMYRA June Marie Huntzinger (nee Fornwalt) daughter of the late Harry Melvin Fornwalt and Leona Estella Embich Fornwalt, passed away on Saturday, October 30, at the age of 85. Born September 4, 1925, in Harrisburg, and raised with five sisters, she would go on to move 31 times throughout eastern PA and NJ during her lifetime. A dedicated mother and hostess, she was also a seamstress, limo driver, real estate agent, Home and Garden Editor for a newspaper, front desk clerk at the Hershey Country Club, Manager of the Hershey Symphony Orchestra, and spent 10 years as a driver for the Manheim Auto Auction. June spent 30 years dedicated to community and public service including the YMCA, 4-H, chaperone of her church's youth groups, as well as serving on the Somerville School Board and Aging Advisory Board. Shortly after her 76th birthday, she was elected the first woman President of Palmyra Rotary. Widowed in 1994, June's travels would include a 7,400 mile solo cross-country road trip by car and visits to friends in Austria and Sweden. Not prone to rest, she was an avid golfer, a lover of classical music, a quilt maker, and a resourceful, self-reliant woman who will be missed beyond words by all who knew and loved her.
