  Margaret Kauffman 
   
  Margaret Kauffman DENVER Margaret Kauffman, 82, died peacefully, surrounded by 
  family April 9, 2010, in Ephrata Hospital. Her husband, Paul S. Kauffman, died 
  November 22, 1986. Born in Sheridan, she was a daughter of Paul R. and Sarah 
  (Foulk) Bingaman. A 1945 Millcreek Twp. H.S. and Reading Business Institute 
  graduate, she assisted her husband in his masonry business and worked at 
  various textile mills. A member of Wiest Memorial U. M. Church, Schoeneck, 20 
  year volunteer at Ephrata Hospital, she also was a member, former chaplain and 
  flag bearer of the Order of Eastern Star. Margaret instilled in her cherished 
  family the importance of education. She was also a crossword puzzle and bingo 
  enthusiast. Surviving are sons, Bruce L. (Bonnie Bowers) Kauffman, and James M. 
  Kauffman, both of Denver, and Paul D. (Lorraine Sweigart) Kauffman, Glen Mills; 
  daughters, Susan K. (Robert W.) Suit, Stevens, and Sara J. (Robert B) Sellers, 
  Drumore; grandchildren, Brent, Amanda, Sarah, Beth, Andrew and Heather; 
  greatgrandson, Tristan; sister, Eleanor Hartranft, Newmanstown; and brothers, 
  Paul Bingaman, Lebanon, and Dorsey Bingaman, Millersville, The funeral will be 
  11 a.m. Thursday at Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with burial in Memory 
  Gardens. Viewings will be Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 10 to 11 a.m. The 
  family wishes to extend their gratitude to the doctors, nurses, physical 
  therapists and chaplains of Ephrata Community Hospital for their exceptional 
  care.
