Eugene Keller, 85, died Monday, January 11, 2010, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. He was the husband of Gladys J. (Sonnon) Fry Keller. His first wife, Rosene A. Stewart Keller, died March 29, 2009. Born in Philadelphia, on October 26, 1924, he was the son of the late Harry E. and Irene (Meiser) Keller. He was a graduate of Richland High School and Lebanon Valley College and served in the U.S. Army during WWII, receiving the Bronze Star. He was the owner of Keller Real Estate & Insurance, Richland, from 1962-1982. He was a member of Grace U.C.C., Richland, and was a lifetime and charter member of the Richland American Legion, where he had been a Past Commander. He enjoyed playing cards and writing poetry. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Anne P., wife of Gary Sattazahn of Myerstown, and Kay M. Vindich of El Cajon, Calif.; son, Richard E., husband of Sylvia Keller of Richland; brother, Richard Deitrich of Wrightsville, Ga.; grandchildren, Julie A. Righter, David E. Keller, Cheyanne M. Vindich, Carly A. Vindich, Stacy A. Richards, and Kristy M. Killian; great-grandchildren, Rory E. Righter and Jeffrey B. Killian, III; stepchildren, William D. Fry, Jr., Terry Fry, Lois O'Brien, Cindy Duncan, and David Fry, all of Lititz; four stepgrandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. Family will receive friends Friday at 10 a.m. Interment at the Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace U.C.C., 22 Church St., Richland, PA 17087.
