  PALMYRA M. June Kettering, 90, of the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, Palmyra 
  died Saturday, September 25, 2010, in the Home. Born in Lebanon on April 27, 
  1920, she was the daughter of the late Simon S. and Hannah Brandt Kettering. In 
  her earlier years, June taught Home Economics at Harding Jr. High School, 
  Lebanon , then became a practicing Dietitian working at the Lebanon VA Medical 
  Center, and later became the primary care giver for her mother and father. She 
  was a graduate of Lebanon High School and Drexel University; a member of 
  Covenant United Methodist Church, Lebanon; the Order of the Eastern Star; and 
  the Water Works Fire Company Auxiliary. Surviving are a brother, Paul H. 
  Kettering of Lebanon; a sister, Ruth K. Embich of Palmyra; a niece, Barbara 
  Zorn; six nephews, Tom and Gary Embich, Brian, Craig, and Scott Kettering, and 
  Jim Zorn; and several grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, and great-
  grandnephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, J. Herman and Russell 
  Kettering; and a sister, Grace Zorn. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 
  1:30 p.m. from the DiMatteo Worship Center of the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, 
  1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra, PA 17078. Interment will be held in Mt. Lebanon 
  Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 1 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service. 
  Contributions may be made to the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home or her Church at 
  346 N. Ninth Street, Lebanon, PA 17046. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 
  Annville is in charge of arrangements.
