  Waldemar G. Keys Sr. 
  
  LEBANON Waldemar G. Keys, Sr., 83, died on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at the 
  Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Sandra K. Keys of Mohnton. 
  Born in Oakland, Calif., he was the son of the late Thomas I. and Lillian M. 
  (Soule) Keys. Wald served in the U.S. Naval Reserve from 1948 to 1953, and in 
  the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1975. During his career he served during three wars, 
  WWII, Korea, and three tours of duty in Vietnam. Surviving, in addition to his 
  wife, are two daughters, Alicia Keys of Lebanon and Bianca Keys of California; 
  son, Christopher Kring of Washington; granddaughter, Essence Embry of Lebanon; 
  sisters, Janet Thomas of Atlanta, Ga., and Arlene Duvall of San Diego, Calif.; 
  and a brother, Richard M. Keys of California. He was predeceased by one son, 
  Waldemar G. Keys, Jr.; and six brothers and sisters. Relatives and friends are 
  invited to attend his memorial service on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at 10:30 
  a.m. at the Chapel at the Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., 
  Lebanon. Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will 
  be in Indiantown Gap National Veterans Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, 
  contributions can be made on behalf of his granddaughter, Essence Embry, c/o 
  Citizens Bank, Attn: Donation Account, 14 W. Wyomissing Ave., Mohnton, PA 
  19540. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home 
  and Crematorium, Inc. of Mohnton.
