  Jeanne 'Chammy' Kimmell CORNWALL Jeanne Chamoulaud Kimmell, 83, died on 
  Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Hershey Medical Center, her family by her bedside. 
  She was the wife of the late G. Franklin Kimmell, being wed 49 years until his 
  passing 10 years ago. Known to family and friends as Chammy, Mrs. Kimmell was 
  born March 19, 1927, in New York City, N.Y., daughter of the late Muriel Iszard 
  Chamoulaud of Elmira, N.Y., and Louis Michel Chamoulaud of New York, N.Y. She 
  was raised in Elmira, N.Y. A lifelong member of the Religious Society of 
  Friends, she attended George School in Bucks County, and graduated from Cornell 
  University in 1949. Mrs. Kimmell was a long-time member of the Westtown (PA) 
  Friends Meeting. Mrs. Kimmell raised her family in Cheyney, where she worked 
  for many years at the Cheyney Post Office. After retiring to Kennett Square she 
  moved to Cornwall Manor in Cornwall in 2003. Chammy is survived by her 
  children, Pamela Kimmell of Asheville, N.C., Wendy Daly of York, Todd and wife, 
  Kristin Kimmell of Philadelphia, Christopher and Llenay Kimmell of Annville, 
  Katherine and husband, and William Dolchan of Frostburg, Md.; and eight 
  wonderful grandchildren. Along with her husband, she was also preceded in death 
  by her son, F. Scott Kimmell. Interment and a graveside gathering of family and 
  friends will be held at the Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery, adjacent to 
  Birmingham Friends Meeting, near West Chester, on Tuesday at 11a.m. In lieu of 
  flowers, remembrances in her name may be made to the American Friends Service 
  Committee, 1501 Cherry St., Philadelphia, PA 19102; or the Humane Society of 
  Lebanon Co., 150 N. Ramona Rd., Myerstown, PA 17067.
