  Anna W. Koons LEBANON Anna W. Koons, 84, died Thursday, May 13, 2010, at the 
  Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the widow of Howard E. Koons, who 
  died February 10, 1985. Born in Rexmont, on September 24, 1925, she was the 
  daughter of the late David and Mary (Boyer) Walters. She was a 1943 graduate of 
  Lebanon High School and worked as an office worker at the former Haak's 
  Department Store, Lebanon, for 18 years, and as a cashier for Schwalm's 
  Restaurant, Cleona, for 10 years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran 
  Church, Lebanon, and the Lutheran Church Women of America. She is survived by a 
  daughter, Karen M., wife of Edward H. Fitting of Lebanon; a son, Gary M., 
  husband of Betty Jo Koons of Lititz; three grandchildren; two 
  greatgrandchildren; brother, Carl V. Walters of Lebanon; and several nieces and 
  nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie L. Snyder, in 2006. 
  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Holy 
  Trinity Lutheran Church, Lebanon. Viewing Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the church. 
  Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, 
  memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, "Bell Choir 
  Fund," 723 Lehman St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Arrangements are being handled by 
  Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown.
