He was the husband of Shirley Mack Landis with whom he celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary this past May. Born in North Annville Twp., on May 15, 1934, he was the son of the late Penrose N. and Catharine D. Snoke Landis. He was a retired Lab Tech after 37 years of service with Millard's Quarry, Annville. Jack was a U.S. Army Veteran of Korea. He was a 1952 graduate of Annville High School; a member of St. John's E.C. Church, Steelstown where he served as the Junior Sunday School Superintendant and also was a Young Adult Sunday School Teacher; a lifetime member of the Bellegrove Fire Company, Steelstown Gunning Club; the Retired Steel Workers of America; and played with the East Hanover Twp. Community Band, the Hummelstown Band, and for 50 years with the Washington Band, Annville.He was the last of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by a brother Ellis Snoke Landis in 1938.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. from St. John's E.C. Church, 683 Steelstown Road, Annville, PA 17003. Interment will be with Full Military Honors in the adjoining church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church. No Viewing.Contributions may be made to his church in his memory.Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville is in charge of arrangements.
