M. shabodeho@aol.com April 18, 2010, 9:41 am Published in Lebanon Daily News on April 14, 2010 Alta May Lantzy Alta May Lantzy HARRISBURG Alta May Lantzy, 102, most recently of the Harrisburg area, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 11, 2010, at the Hospice Residence. Alta May was an active member in the Montville United Methodist Church, formerly the Whitehall Methodist Episcopal Church, having been a teacher and a Sunday School Superintendent for 15 years. She also loved painting, gardening, reading, letter writing, and had traveled extensively. She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Phillip Lantzy, and her son, Richard A. Lantzy. She is survived by her son, David Lantzy; three daughters, Barbara L. Hartman, Jeanne Licata, and Mary Lou Battley; a sister, Ida Cook; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Contributions in Alta May's name can be made to The Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence, 1701 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg PA, 17110. Arrangements are being handled by the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, 2100 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg PA, 17110.
