Lehman, 90, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010, in Seton Manor, Orwigsburg. Born on September 10, 1919, in Pine Grove, he was a son of the late William A. and Annie Yoder Lehman. Arthur was a member of the Weslyan Evangelical Christian Church in Pleasant Valley. He was a Navy veteran of WWII, having served with the NTS Sampson. He received the WWII Victory Medal, the Philippines Liberation Ribbon, the Asiatic Pacific Ribbon w/one star, the American Theatre Ribbon, and the European African Middle Eastern Ribbon w/one star. He was a life member of Pine Grove American Legion Post 372. Arthur worked as a coal miner for 34 years and as a custodian for Pine Grove Area School District. Preceding him in death was a brother, LeRoy W. "Red" Lehman. Surviving are his wife of 70 years, Lucille Hoke Lehman, one son, Ronald and wife, RuthAnn Lehman, and one daughter, Linda, wife of Jim Schach, all of Pine Grove; five grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren; one brother, Paul F. Lehman of Tremont; and two sisters, Marion Gangaware of Wilkes Barre, and Leah Kramer of Manheim. Funeral services will be held at H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., on Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Martin Furrow, Jr. officiating. There will be a viewing on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
