Levine GROVELAND, FL Susan Jean (Miller) Levine, 59, formerly of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at South Lake Hospital in Clermont, Fla., surrounded by her loving family. She was born Saturday, May 27, 1950, in Hershey. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, William "Bill" D. Levine. She graduated from Hershey High and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church until she moved to Florida in 2008, joining Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Clermont. She had worked for the PA State Police, Harrisburg Police as a dispatcher, Lebanon County as a fire and police dispatcher, Avon as a successful sales representative, Indian Echo Caverns, Mt. Hope Estate and Winery, and Hershey Direct. She was a Brownie Leader and served as Children's Choir Director while living in Palmyra. She enjoyed rock collecting, but most of all, cherished her grandchildren and family. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy D. Gourley, wife of Bill of Hummelstown, and Kelly J. Reed, wife of Shawn of Groveland; four grandchildren, Jamie A. and Sarah J. Gourley, and Chase M. and Wyatt C. Reed; and additional family members, Harry H. Levine and wife, Carol of Katy, Texas, Denise C. McColly and husband, Robert of Ligonier; three nieces; and three nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 245 W. Pine St., Palmyra, 17078 with Father James F. Podlesny officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, and from 12 p.m. until time of the service at the church. Burial will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Contributions may be made in her honor to Humane Society of Harrisburg Area, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
