  Marie A. Levitz 
  
  Marie A. Levitz CORNWALL Marie 'Mary' A. Levitz, died Saturday, June 26, 2010, 
  at Cornwall Manor. She was the wife of Herman M. Levitz, who died in 1967. Born 
  in Lebanon, on October 25, 1910, she was the daughter of the late John D. and 
  Mary Fassen Ambrose. She worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Theodore K. 
  Long. for many years until her retirement. After retiring from their Lebanon 
  Store, Globe Outfitters, Marie and her husband moved to their farm in 
  Grantville. Their farm became a community recreation site for swimming and 
  picnics. This was the inspiration for her donation of the land and funds for 
  the development of H.M. Levitz Memorial Park. The park has always been a great 
  source of joy and happiness for her. Marie was a member Lebanon Women's Club; 
  Volunteer for Lebanon VA; GSH Auxiliary; Quota Club; Volunteer for H.M. Levitz 
  Park; life member of Lebanon County Flower Club and various other 
  organizations. She is survived by five nieces and nephews. She was predeceased 
  by three brothers, Joseph, John and Dr. Anthony Ambrose; three sisters, 
  Isabelle M. Ambrose, Ann M. Hamilton and Helene King; one half sister Philomena 
  Leonfort. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the 
  Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory 618 E. Main St Annville, 17003. Interment will 
  be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. Viewing will be held one hour prior 
  to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, 
  contributions can be made to Marie Ambrose Levitz Scholarship Fund in c/o 
  Clermont Wealth Strategies Fulton Financial Advisors, 555 Willow St. Lebanon, 
  PA 17042.
