  Homer E. Light 
   
  Homer E. Light ANNVILLE Homer E. Light, 85, died Friday, January 29, 2010, at 
  his residence. Born in Iona, on June 14, 1924, he was the son of the late Caleb 
  and Anna Stohler Light. Homer was a selfemployed dairy farmer and owned Light 
  Stair Shop, which made prefabricated stairs for new construction. He also 
  invented medical equipment. He is survived by a son, Kevin Light and wife, Ann 
  Louise of Myerstown; a daughter, Karen and husband, William Gassert of N. 
  Anson, Maine; a brother, Ira Light and wife, Margaret of Palmyra; four 
  grandchildren, Jeremy Gassert, Daniel Gassert, Noah Light, and Isabella Light; 
  and companion, Alice Heckman of Tamaqua. He was preceded in death by two 
  brothers, Caleb Light, Jr. and Wilmer Light; and a sister, Dorothy Strohm. 
  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral 
  Home & Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville, with interment in Grand View 
  Memorial Park, Annville. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. 
  and Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
