  Melvin L. Lingle Sr. 
   
  BETHEL Melvin L. Lingle, Sr., 83, died Sunday, November 28, 2010, at the Good 
  Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Born May 31, 1927, in Manada Hill, he was the son 
  of the late Thomas J. and Elsie (Wert) Lingle. He retired with 27 years of 
  service from H.B. Reese Candy Company, was a member of Little Swatara Church of 
  the Brethren, Bethel, East Hanover Lions Club, National Rifle Association and 
  was a social member of Shellsville V.F.W. #9639. Surviving are his wife of 62 
  years, Jean R. (Neidlinger) Lingle; sons, Melvin L, Jr., husband of Joann 
  Lingle of McDonough, Georgia, and Robert A., husband of Wendy Lingle of Bethel; 
  sisters, Catherine Milliken of Carlisle and Corine Potter of Harrisburg; four 
  granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 
  11 a.m. Thursday at Little Swatara Church of the Brethren, 31 Rehrersburg Road, 
  Bethel. Viewings will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Buse Funeral Home, 9066 
  Jonestown Road, Grantville and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Interment 
  will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. In lieu of flowers 
  contributions may be made to Little Swatara Church of the Brethren, 31 
  Rehrersburg Road, Bethel, PA 19507.
