Lyter PALMYRA Dorothy M (Cavrich) Lyter, 74, passed away unexpectedly with her daughters by her side on Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at her home. She was prede- ceased by her loving husband, John Wayne Lyter, on September 28, 2000. She was born March, 25, 1936, in McAdoo, to the late Nicholas and Mary B. (Miladine) Cavrich. She was a 1954 graduate of Harrisburg Catholic High School (now Bishop McDevitt High School) and a member of All Saints' Episcopal Church where she taught Sunday School and served on the altar guild. She was a homemaker and later joined John in operating their business, TRY Coffee Group of Harrisburg. She enjoyed gardening, reading, but most of all, spending time with her precious grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters, Alicia Koslowski and husband, Jeff, and their son, Drew Jadyn Koslowski, and Deanna Achorn and husband, George, and their daughters, Mina Rose and Emilia Dorothy Achorn; two brothers, John Cavrich of Hollidaysburg and George Cavrich of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and three sisters, Helen Sansone of Harrisburg, Mary Acri of Harrisburg, and Anita Thompson of Camp Hill. A memorial service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at All Saints' Episcopal Church, 310 Elm Ave., Hershey, 17033 with the Rev. Susan Q. Claytor officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Garden of the church. Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, 17078 has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor to All Saints' Episcopal Church; or the American Heart Association , 1019 Mumma Road, Wormleysburg, PA 17043.
