  Barbara E. Mallory ANNVILLE Barbara Edith (Steinmann) Mallory, 96, formerly of 
  Huntingdon Valley, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 8, 2009, at the 
  M.S. Hershey Medical Center. She leaves this world to join the love of her 
  life, Lewis P. Mallory, who passed away May 16, 2004. She was born Thursday, 
  November 6, 1913, in Boston, Mass., to the late Samuel J. and Ethel (Luthgren) 
  Steinmann. She was a 1932 graduate of Abington High School where she was an 
  accomplished vocalist. She was a member of Abington Presbyterian Church and was 
  active in the music ministry. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara L. Shank 
  and husband, Dennis L. of Palmyra; two grandsons, Kurt M. Shank of Boston, 
  Mass., and Neil G. Shank and wife, Lauren of Wallingford; one greatgrandson, 
  Thomas G. Shank; and one brother, Conrad Steinmann of Perkasie. She was 
  predeceased by three brothers, Samuel, Jr., John, and Henry Steinmann. Funeral 
  services will be private at the convenience of the family with burial in 
  Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made 
  in her honor to Abington Presbyterian Church, 1082 Old York Road, Abington, PA 
  19001. Arrangements entrusted to Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 
  Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078.
