Manoskey, 61, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Karen Devine Manoskey, and in November they celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary. Born in Lebanon on November 9, 1948, he was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Ulrich Manoskey. For forty years he had worked in HVAC for UGI. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam conflict. He was a member of the Lebanon Church of the Brethren and the Local IBEW. He enjoyed his family, woodworking and helping others. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Jon J., husband of Lesa Manoskey of Pottstown, and Michael P. Manoskey of Jonestown; a brother, Joseph Manoskey of Elizabethtown; sister, Shirley Bartell of Lebanon; and grandchildren, Sara Manoskey and Ian and Mason Little. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 and Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. Viewing will begin at 4 p.m. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to their neighbors for the help that they gave Saturday morning in their time of crisis.
