'Dixie' Marks, 90, died on Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at Cedar Haven. She was born on Friday, November 7, 1919, to the late Daniel H. Marks and Anna A. Marks nee Brown in West Cornwall Twp. She worked for Colebrook Lingerie Co. and Lebanon Shirt Factory. She was a member of the Quentin Fire Company Ladies Auxilliary; a former member of the Retired Steelworker's; member and volunteer of the Quentin Senior Center; the American Red Cross; and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. Surviving are sisters, Marian Heinaman of Quentin, Ethel C. Marks and companion, Raymond White of Quentin; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by brother, Daniel W. Marks; sisters, Beatrice E. Cooper, Ruby C. Smith, Mabel E. Enck. Viewing will be on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc, 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Quentin (Bismarck) Cemetery, Quentin, following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 526 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, PA 17042; or American Red Cross, 1220 Mifflin St., Lebanon PA 17046.
