  Esther S. Martin 
  
  LEBANON Esther S. Martin, 89, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010, in her residence. 
  She was the wife of the late Allen W. Martin. She was born July 24, 1921, in 
  New Holland, a daughter of the late Peter Z. and Anna S. Shirk Hoover. Esther 
  was co-founder with her husband of the Stone Barn Furniture Store in Lebanon. 
  She was a member of the Fairview Mennonite Church of the Weaverland Conference. 
  She is survived by children, Carl A. Martin and wife Rachel of Lebanon; Leonard 
  H. Martin and wife Violet of Myerstown; Marlin E. Martin and wife Marlene of 
  Lebanon, Ruth N. Good and husband Leonard Good of Iowa; 28 grandchildren; 44 
  great-grandchildren; and a brother, Paul S. Hoover and wife, Verna of Lebanon. 
  She was preceded in death by brothers, Harvey and Ivan Hoover; sisters, Eva 
  Hoover, Minnie Musser, Anna Good and Mabel Rutt. Funeral service will be held 
  on Monday, August 30, 2010, at 9:30 a.m. in the Fairview Mennonite Church, Elco 
  Drive, Myerstown. Interment will be made in the adjoining church cemetery. A 
  viewing will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fairview 
  Mennonite Reception Center, Jackson Road, Lebanon. Please omit flowers. 
  Memorial contributions may be made to Christian Aid Ministries, 2412 Division 
  Highway, Ephrata, PA 17522. Clauser Funeral Home, Inc. is handling the 
  arrangements.
