Martin, 85, died Saturday, December 25, 2010, in his son's residence in Memphis, Mo. He was the husband of Alta B. Horst Martin, who died in August 1999. He was born in Earl Township, Lancaster County on June 29, 1925, a son of the late Ezra S. and Anna Zimmerman Martin. After retiring as a farmer, Ezra was employed by the Manheim Auto Auction and Brubaker's Auto Sales in Myerstown. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Mennonite Church of the Weaverland Conference. He is survived by children, Louella wife of Melvin Horning of Lebanon; Ivan husband of Louise Martin, Nora wife of James Horst and Leon husband of Mary Ellen Martin, all of Memphis, Mo.; Grace wife of Eugene Brubaker of Bernville; Anna Ruth wife of Clarence Martin of Richland; Ezra H. husband of Eleanor Martin and Eva Jane wife of Leonard Martin both of Myerstown; Thelma wife of Leon Martin of Cayuga, N.Y.; 55 grandchildren; 142 great-grandchildren; brothers, Hershey husband of Anna Martin and Willis husband of Alta Martin both of Lebanon, PA; sisters, Ruth Brubaker, Eva Brubaker and Edna wife of Barton Sensenig all of Myerstown; Anna Mary wife of Lloyd Burkholder of Lebanon; Alta wife of Alvin Musser of Memphis, Mo. He was preceded in death by brothers, Lester and James Martin; sister, Nora Horst and grandson, Milford Brubaker. Funeral service will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the Mt. Zion Mennonite Church, Deep Run Road, Myerstown. Interment will be made in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fairview Mennonite Reception Center, Jackson Road, Lebanon. Please Omit Flowers.
