Martin LEBANON Phebe G Martin passed away at the Good Samaritan Hospital on Thursday, November 25, 2010. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, she will be greatly missed. Born in Ephrata, on November 14, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Levi H. and Anna W. Burkholder. Mrs. Martin was a volunteer for Jubilee Ministries, Friendship Circle Committee, and New Song Ladies Ministries. She was a member of Womelsdorf Mennonite Church and taught Sunday school. She is survived by her husband, E. Cleason Martin; sons and their wives, Roger and Treena, Anthony and Michelle, and Trulan and Darlene; and 14 grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Mildred, wife of Harry Diffenbach, Margaret, wife of Rufus Horst, Martha, wife of Ronald Putt, Esther, wife of Isaac Rissler, Grace, wife of Dennis Bennetch, Fay, wife of Daniel Renno, Nancy, wife of Clarence Burkholder, Priscilla, wife of Mervin Kreider, Eunice, widow of Lloyd Horst, and Miriam, wife of Mark Witmer; and brothers, James, Noah, Christian, and Moses. She was preceded in death by three infant siblings. Family and friends are invited to viewing services at the Fairview Reception Center, 141 Jackson Road, Lebanon, 17042 on Sunday, November 28, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at New Beginnings Grace Brethren Church, 430 E Lincoln Ave., Myerstown 17067 on Monday at 10 a.m. There will be a viewing form 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be at Womelsdorf Mennonite Church. Contributions may be made in Phebe's memory to Jubilee Ministries, 235 S. 12th St., Lebanon, PA, 17042-6614. The Rohland Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
