  Ronald K. Martin HONDURAS Ronald K. Martin, 44, formerly of Fredericksburg, 
  passed away unexpectedly as a result of a vehicle accident on Thursday, July 1, 
  2010, while serving as a missionary in Honduras. He was the husband of Maryann 
  (Freed) Martin. They were married on November 26, 1988. Born on March 22, 1966, 
  he was the son of Kenneth and Rhoda (Kauffman) Martin of Myerstown. He was a 
  member of the Elm Street Mennonite Church, Lebanon, and was ordained to the 
  ministry in 1996 for the Elm Street congregation. In 2008, he was commissioned 
  to the mission in Honduras. While in PA, he taught school at the Myerstown 
  Mennonite School and the Cedar Run Mennonite School. He was also employed by 
  Dyna Tech., Lebanon. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by 
  four sons, James, Kevin, Norman, and Myron, and two daughters, Karla and 
  Rhonda, all at home; two brothers, Lamar, married to Sharon (Hofer) Martin, and 
  Vernon, married to Angie (Gingrich) Martin, both of Lebanon; and two sisters, 
  Marilyn, married to Merle Ebersol of Bethel, and Loretta, married to Dan Martin 
  of Burns Lake, British Columbia; and grandparents Ivan, Sr. and Esther Martin 
  of Myerstown. A viewing will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at 
  Swatara Mennonite Church, Myerstown. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 10 
  am at the church with interment in the adjoining cemetery. No flowers. 
  Contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Children's Home, Honduras. 
  Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown, is in charge of the 
  arrangements.
