  Richard C. Masemore 
  
  Richard C. Masemore LEBANON Richard C. Masemore, 87, died Thursday, May 6, 
  2010, peacefully in his residence. He was the husband of Iva E. Peffley 
  Masemore with whom he would have celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary in 
  August, 2010. Born in Lebanon, on January 27, 1923, he was the son of the late 
  John L. and Eva D. McConnell Masemore. He retired from the Lebanon VA Medical 
  Center as a nurse's aid and worked part-time for John Weidman as a carpenter. 
  He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Lebanon. Richard liked 
  taking walks and loved the outdoors, doing carpentry work, and doing search-a-
  word puzzles. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Richard L. 
  Masemore of Cleona; daughters, Rose Marie Masemore of Lebanon and Carol 
  Masemore of Lebanon; brother, Paul Masemore of Lebanon; along with several 
  nieces, nephews, greatnieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his 
  daughter, Doris Masemore; brother, John Masemore; sisters, Frances C. Fancovic, 
  Ethel Sheldon, Eva Shirey, and Kathleen Masemore. Funeral services will be held 
  on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 
  Cumberland St., Lebanon, where a viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will 
  be made in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of flowers, 
  contributions may be made to the GSH Hospice, 202 Hathaway Park, Lebanon, PA 
  17042; or Trinity U.M.C., 757 Willow St., Lebanon, PA 17046.
