  John J. Matarazzi Sr. 
  
  
  John J. Matarazzi, Sr. LEBANON John J. Matarazzi, Sr., 87, of 590 S. 5th Ave., 
  died on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at Cedar Haven. He was born on Friday, October 
  6, 1922, to the late Sabatino Matarazzi and Caroline Matarazzi nee Izzone in 
  Lebanon. He worked as a boiler engineer. He was a veteran of the Coast Guard in 
  World War II. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Chapel. He was a charter 
  member of IGMR Fish and Game. He also enjoyed fly fishing, tying flies, and 
  auctions. Surviving are daughters, Marie Matarazzi of Jonestown and Margie 
  Matarazzi of Lebanon; son, Clyde Matarazzi of Lebanon; grandchild, Jolleen 
  Bechtel; great-grandchildren, Mark, Shauna, Anthony J., and Anthony M.; 
  brother, James Matarazzi of Lebanon; sister, Eleanor Ladorcik of Lebanon; and 
  niece, Grace Palkovic of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by wife, Beverly J. 
  Matarazzi; son, John Matarazzi, Jr.; grandchild, Scott Matarazzi; three 
  brothers; and one sister. Viewing will be on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at 
  Our Lady of Fatima Chapel, Rt. 22 and N. Mill St., Jonestown. Funeral Mass will 
  be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Holy Cross 
  Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to 
  Our Lady of Fatima Chapel, Rt. 22 and N. Mill St., Jonestown, PA 17038.
