Mauser, Sr. JONESTOWN Clarence J Mauser, Sr., 85, of 3343 Rt. 72, passed away Friday, July 9, 2010, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Dorothea V (Klinger) Mauser, to whom he was married 62 years. He was born on Friday, September 19, 1924, in Lykens Twp., Dauphin County, a son of the late Fremont Mauser and Annie (Welker) Mauser. Clarence served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Germany and was involved in the Battle of the Bulge. He retired as a heavy equipment operator for Facility Engineers at Ft Indiantown Gap. He was of the Protestant faith and was a member of American Legion Post 910, Jonestown. Clarence enjoyed woodworking. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Jack T Mauser and his wife, Marjorie, Terry L Mauser and his wife, Carla, and Clarence J Mauser, Jr. and his wife, Tammy, all of Jonestown; four grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; and a greatgreat- grandson. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at BuffingtonReed Funeral Home, Valley View. Burial with military honors will be made in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.
