  Elmer L. McKinney 
  
  LEBANON Elmer L. McKinney, 76, of 18 David Drive, died Wednesday, November 10, 
  2010, in ManorCare Health Services, Lebanon. He was the husband of Eleanor J. 
  Maluchnik McKinney, who died in 2008. Born in Lebanon, on August 6, 1934, he 
  was the son of the late Lester and Eva McMinn McKinney. He was a retired 
  helicopter mechanic and a U.S. Air Force Veteran of Korea, employed as a 
  civilian at Olmstead Air Force Base, Harrisburg, Ft. Indiantown Gap, Annville, 
  and the New Cumberland Army Depot. He also worked part-time at Sears and Car 
  Quest, both in Lebanon. Elmer was a 1952 graduate of Lebanon High School and 
  enjoyed making jewelry out of gem stones. He also loved his grandchildren and 
  great-grandchildren and spending time at flea markets. Surviving are a 
  daughter, Trudy, wife of Michael A. Hertzog of Jonestown; a son, Michael D., 
  husband of Kathy McKinney of Palmyra; seven grandchildren; 11 great-
  grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth McDaniels of Lebanon and Patrick McKinney 
  of Germania; and a sister, Leslie of Lebanon. Funeral services will be held on 
  Tuesday, November 16, at 11:30 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and 
  Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment with full military honors will 
  be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Tuesday from 
  10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service. Contributions may be made to the 
  American Cancer Society , P.O. Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042; or the GSH Hospice, 
  P.O. Box 1281, Lebanon, PA 17042.
