M. shabodeho@aol.com February 6, 2010, 10:02 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News from January 24 to January 25, 2010 Anna Faber McVay Anna Faber McVay HARRISBURG Anna Dunkle Faber McVay, 94, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010, in Harrisburg Hospital. She was the widow of Elmer Faber and Max R. McVay. She was born February 16, 1915, in Steelton, and was the daughter of the late Amos W. and Jennie K. (Barnet) Dunkle. Mrs. McVay retired from Lebanon Valley College in 1977, where she was a professor of Drama and Literature. She was a member of the Alumni Association of Lebanon Valley College and the University of Wisconsin, where she received her PhD. Surviving are her stepdaughter, Nancy J. McVay and her husband, Thomas J. Kovich of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; stepson, Thomas R. McVay and his wife, Hillie of San Clemente, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg, with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Baldwin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Lebanon Valley College, Advancement Office, 101 N. College Ave., Annville, PA 17033.
