  Frances E. Metz 
  
  LEMOYNE Frances E. Metz, passed away Tuesday at her home. She was a 1938 
  graduate of the former Lemoyne High School, a member of Grace United Methodist 
  Church, Lemoyne, where she was the first female Trustee of the church. After 
  high school, she graduated from Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing in 
  Lebanon and the Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia with a degree in 
  Anesthesiology. She also worked at Harrisburg Hospital for 25 years and retired 
  from Holy Spirit Hospital after 17 years of service. Her favorite pastime was 
  antiquing and going to yard sales. Surviving are cousins, Jean, Clyde, Norman, 
  Joseph, Dean, Louise, Robert, Sylvia, Glenn and Vonnie; and a devoted friend, 
  Jean Roi Baptiste. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 4, 2010, at 
  Grace United Methodist Church, 309 Herman Ave., Lemoyne, with a luncheon 
  immediately following services. Private burial will be in Blain Cemetery, Perry 
  County. Visitation will be in the church parlor one hour prior to services 
  Monday. There will be no public viewing. The family wishes to thank Carol and 
  Tanya from Horizons Hospice for their care of Frances. Please omit flowers. 
  Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Capital Region 
  Unit, 3211 N. Front St., Ste 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110-1342; the American Red 
  Cross, Pa Region Chapter, 1804 N. Sixth St., Harrisburg, PA 17102; or to 
  Citizens Fire Co., No. 1, 326 Herman Ave., Lemoyne, PA 17043. Musselman Funeral 
  Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Lemoyne, is handling arrangements.
