Miller, 73, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010, of natural causes in her residence. She was the wife of Lester L. Miller, who died February 25, 2005. Born February 5, 1937, in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Max and Naomi (Weidner) Franke. She was a graduate of Womelsdorf High School and the McCann School of Business. She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Womelsdorf, where she was the church treasurer, Sunday School teacher, and a member of the choir. In addition to the tasks she performed at the church, she was a true believer in the love of God. The church of Jesus Christ held much meaning for her. She was also a member of the Friends of the Conrad Weiser Homestead, and the Womelsdorf High School Alumni, where she was Association Teasurer. She worked as a daycare aide for 22 years for Crayon Corner, Womelsdorf. Louise truly loved the children that were placed in her care. She is survived by two sons, John R. of Womelsdorf, and David L. of Hamburg; uncle, Warren Weidner of Womelsdorf; and several cousins and godchildren. She will be missed by many dear friends, many of whom were like her family. Services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 300 W. High St., Womelsdorf, PA 19567, on Friday, February 19, at 10 a.m. and at 7 p.m. Interment will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 9 a.m. until time of the morning service, and from 6 p.m. until time of the evening service at the church. There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, PA 19605; or to her church at the above address. The Hetrick-Mull Funeral Home, Inc., Womelsdorf, is in charge of arrangements.
