Mountz WOMELSDORF Mary Elizabeth Mountz, 102, died Thursday, June 10, 2010, in her residence. She was the wife of Ralph I. Mountz, who died in 1969. Born May 27, 1908, in Millbach, Lebanon Co., she was the daughter of the late James and Edna (Pyle) Leed. She had worked for the former Voguewear and the Valley Forge Flag Co. as a sewer until her retirement. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Womelsdorf. She was a charter member and past President of the Max Schaeffer VFW Post 6558, Womelsdorf; past President of the Womelsdorf Fire Co. Ladies Aux.; and a member of the Women of Today. She is survived by one son, Ralph E. Mountz, husband of Jean A. of Robesonia; one daughter, Nancy M. Mountz of Womelsdorf; two grandchildren, Jean C., wife of Gregory Boyer of Wernersville, and Renee, wife of John Forry of Hershey; four greatgrandchildren, Matthew Boyer, Andrew Boyer, Amie Peters, and Adam Forry; and 10 great-greatgrandchildren, Brittnee, Meghan, Brandon, Sarah, Thaddeus, and Nathaniel Boyer, and Deven, Gabryel, Dominik, and Sydnee Peters. She was predeceased by her siblings, Lawrence Leed, James Leed, Ella Yost, and Emma Oxenreider. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at 11 a.m. from the Hetrick-Mull Funeral Home, Inc., 27 E. High St., Womelsdorf, with the Rev. Wm. A. Pifer-Foote officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Lutheran & Reformed Cemetery, Womelsdorf. Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to Zion U.C.C., 12 S. 2nd St., Womelsdorf, PA 19567; or to Good Samaritan Hospital Hospice, 202 Hathaway Park, Lebanon, PA 17042.
