  Donald R. Neiswender 
  
  Donald R. Neiswender ELIZABETHTOWN Donald R. Neiswender, 79, of the Masonic 
  Village, Elizabethtown and formerly of Palmyra died Saturday, August 14, 2010, 
  at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. Born May 22, 1931, in Hershey, he was a son 
  of the late Roy and Margaret (Lesher) Neiswender. Retired from Pennsylvania 
  Department of Transportation, he was a member of First United Methodist Church, 
  Palmyra and Brownstone Lodge #666 F. & A.M. He was a former member of Palmyra 
  Borough Council and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was the 
  widower of Ruth E. (Farnsler) Neiswender, who died July 25, 2009, and was also 
  preceded in death by brothers, James Neiswender and Frank Neiswender. Surviving 
  are his daughter Janine Neiswender and partner, Chris Hakes of Etters; son, 
  Donald Neiswender, Jr. and fianc"e, Mary Kaufman of Enola; brothers, Kenneth 
  Neiswender of Palmyra, Fred Neiswender of Clearfield; sisters, Beverly Luci of 
  Palmyra and Phyllis Deibler of Palmyra; and grandson, Joshua Neiswender. A 
  funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist 
  Church, 520 E. Birch St., Palmyra. Interment, with military honors, will be 
  Wednesday 12:30 p.m. in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Viewing 6 
  to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra. Memorial 
  contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 2080 Linglestown 
  Road, Suite #104, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
