  Carl K. "Mick" Nye 
  
  Carl K. Nye HERSHEY Carl K. 'Mick' Nye, 74, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at 
  home surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 31, 1935, in Hershey, 
  son of the late Leroy and Mabel (Evans) Nye. Carl retired from the former 
  Hershey Chocolate Co. after 40+ years; was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman 
  Catholic Church, Hershey; the Areba Club and Chocolate Workers Local #464. 
  Surviving are his wife of over 49 years, Joan A. (Pichini) Nye; two daughters, 
  Christine Nye of Fredericksburg, and Carla Henise and her husband, Brian of 
  Wrightsville; two granddaughters, Leah Henise and Krysta Nye; a brother, Edgar 
  Nye and his wife, June of Annville; and a sister, June Nye of Lebanon. He was 
  preceded in death by son Kevin Nye; grandson, Kenneth Nye; brothers Victor, 
  Charles, Warren and Harold; and a sister, Goldie Nye. Mass of Christian Burial 
  will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in his church. There will be no viewing or 
  visitation. Interment will follow in the Hershey Cemetery. The family requests 
  no flowers, they prefer memorial contributions be made to either St. Joan of 
  Arc Church Memorial Fund, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey, PA 17033; or Heartland 
  Hospice Svcs., 1200 Walnut Bottom Rd., Suite 302, Carlisle, PA 17015. Hoover 
  Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., of Hershey, is handling the arrangements.
