  BETHEL Steve Olesh, 85, went to be with his Lord and Savior surrounded by his 
  loving family on Thursday, November 18, 2010, at his home. He was the husband 
  of Edna L. Gettle Olesh, who died on December 20, 2007. Born in Cleveland, 
  Ohio, on October 5, 1925, he was the son of the late John and Anna Politch 
  Olesh. He was a lifelong farmer and a sea going cowboy with the Heifer Project 
  International after WWII. Steve was a member of Meckville Mennonite Church and 
  served as a Deacon and Sunday school teacher for many years. He is survived by 
  two sons, Jonathan J. Olesh and wife, Cathy of Frystown, and Stephen M. Olesh 
  and wife, Valerie of Bethel; five daughters, Rebecca A. Olesh of Lebanon, Lydia 
  M. Olesh of Bethel, Judith C. Klahr of Lebanon, Ruth A., wife of Gary Sholl of 
  Mt. Aetna, and Susan D. Olesh of Bethel; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-
  grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a 
  daughter, Debra Joy Olesh; four brothers Henry, John, Joseph, and Adam Olesh; 
  and five sisters, Lydia Olesh, Eve Olesh, Mary Becker, Katherine Orendo, and 
  Anna Ninkovich. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at 
  the Meckville Mennonite Church at 11 a.m. A viewing will be Monday evening from 
  6 to 8 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 and Camp 
  Meeting Road, Jonestown, and one hour prior to the funeral at the church. 
  Interment will be at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can 
  be made to the Heifer Project International 1 World Ave., Little Rock, AR, 
  72202.
