  James J. Onofrey 
  
  James J. Onofrey LEBANON James J. Onofrey, 71, died Friday, May 28, 2010, at 
  the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of the late Carol J. Cogley 
  Onofrey who died in 2006. Born in Lebanon on August 17, 1938, James was the son 
  of the late Frank and Ester I. Leitz Onofrey. He was a retired Offset Plate 
  Maker at the former Lebanon Valley Offset in Annville, and had also worked at 
  Weis Markets. James was a 1956 graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School, was a 
  U.S. Army Veteran, and was a member of the Friendship Fire Co. He was a member 
  of the Church of St. Cecilia, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. James 
  enjoyed spending time with his children and grandkids, and gardening and 
  traveling. Surviving are two children, Michael J., husband of Amy Onofrey, of 
  Lebanon and Kathryn M., wife of David Klingeman, of Middletown; two 
  grandchildren, Trevor K. Onofrey and Morgan P. Klingeman; a companion, Mary 
  Anne Groy of Lebanon; a brother, John F. Onofrey of Cambridge, Mass.; a sister, 
  Margaret L. Klose of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death 
  by two sisters, Frances A. Onofrey and Joan E. Onofrey. Funeral Mass Wednesday 
  at 11 a.m. from the Church of St. Cecilia, 202 E. Lehman St., Lebanon, PA 
  17046. Viewing hours Wednesday morning from 9 to 11 at the church. Interment at 
  Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions 
  may be made to the Church of St. Cecilia. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., is in 
  charge of the arrangements.
