  MYERSTOWN Robert E. Patrick, 80, died Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at his 
  residence. He was the husband of Fern M. (Batdorff) Patrick to whom he was 
  married 58 years on May 30, 2010. Born in Palmyra, on May 2, 1930, he was the 
  son of the late Eugene and Sara (Fox) Patrick. He was a 1947 graduate of 
  Palmyra High School and a graduate of Penn State. He served in the U.S. Army 
  during the Korean War and had been a registered architect at Reese, Lower, 
  Patrick & Scott Registered Architects of Lancaster from 1954 until his 
  retirement in 1996. He was a member of Palmyra Church of the Brethren and 
  attended Myerstown U.C.C. He served on the ELCO School Board from 1963-1995, 26 
  years as the secretary of the Board, and was active in attending ELCO school 
  events. He enjoyed skiing, golfing, and stock car racing and had been a 
  licensed pilot. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Cynthia 
  Patrick, companion of Matt Davis of Myerstown, and Kathy, wife of Dana 
  Seitzinger of Shartlesville; son, Kenneth Patrick of Myerstown; grandchildren, 
  Patrick and Erin Griffe, and Evan and Greggory Falk; great-granddaughter, 
  Kaidance Griffe; sister, Evelyn Darkes of Elizabethtown; and several nieces and 
  nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Smith. Funeral services 
  will be held Monday, November 22, 2010, at 11 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 
  W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. Viewing Monday at 10 a.m. Interment at Spring 
  Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Hershey. In lieu of flowers, memorial 
  contributions may be made to the "Church improvement Fund" of Myerstown U.C.C., 
  310 W. Main Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067.
