Patrick, 78, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Miriam (Keeney) Patrick, to whom he was married 57 years in August, 2010. Born in Hanoverdale, on June 8, 1932, he was the son of the late Norman and Esther Beryl (Firestone) Patrick of Hershey. Retiring with 33 1/2 years from Hershey Foods, he was a member of Hanoverdale Church of the Brethren where his father was a minister for over 50 years. He enjoyed carpentry work and going to auctions. Later his joy was to spend time with his family and going out to eat at restaurants. In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, daughter, Bonita, wife of Bob Brock of New Palestine, Ind., daughter, Rose Foreman of Palmyra, son, Kevin, husband of Marcia Patrick of Palmyra, son, Ferlin, husband of Terri Patrick of Wellsboro, and son, Dana, husband of Melody Patrick of Dillsburg; sister, Sylvia, wife of Robert Heffley of Lancaster; 11 grandchildren, Jason Somers, Dustin Foreman, Quentin Patrick, Tyler Brock, Harmony Webb, Jessica Foreman, Bryce Patrick, Micheala Brock, Charity Patrick, Casey Patrick, and Drew Patrick; five great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Florence Keller. A viewing is scheduled Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Hanoverdale Church of the Brethren, 577 Hershey Road, Hummelstown, preceded by a viewing at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hanoverdale Church of the Brethren, 577 Hershey Road, Hummelstown, PA 17036.
