  Nettie Naomi (Peters) Patterson 
  
  Nettie N. Patterson HERSHEY Nettie Naomi (Peters) Patterson, 63, passed away on 
  Saturday, August 14, 2010, at home with her loving husband by her side. She is 
  survived by her husband of 36 years, Gordon R. Patterson. She was born Monday, 
  January 20, 1947, in Perry County, to the late Stanley and Grace (Hammaker) 
  Peters. She graduated from Newport High School in 1964, Lycoming College in 
  1968, and worked as a chemist for the Hershey Company. She enjoyed potting and 
  spending time with Gordon. She is survived by a brother, Stephen Peters and 
  wife, Karen of Newport; two sisters, Edna "Cookie" Little and husband, Richard 
  of Newport, and Eva Klein of Sipeville; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces 
  and great-nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Stanly and Brian 
  Peters. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Rothermel 
  Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, 17078 has been 
  entrusted with the arrangements. Contributions may be made in her honor to the 
  American Cancer Society , 128 Lucy Ave., Hershey, PA 17033.
